Why this course?

I feel like newcomers in the field are lost and have no means to find their way. I feel like professional developers have dumped the new ones and see them as zombies. Nobody listens to them, nobody talks to them, and they keep on causing disorder all around, and that increases our pain. It's like a father who does not teach his son how to ride a bicycle and, in turn, complains about why the kid can't ride it.

This field has lost its culture of love for code. It's now clouded with business administration, just busy about animating crowds to sell ads through that. There is today some kind of coding fashion show all over the place.

Today, there are so many resources out there to the extent that even we, the old developers, hardly find our way through. Plus, everyone seems to be shy. We all want to play the experts. Every little thing we do, we go and push in the big terms and make it look like it's from a guru. By doing so, you purposely neglect a whole lot of learners who try hard to decode your message.

This is one of the causes of the high rate of the impostor syndrome in the developers' community.

When someone tries to explain the baby steps about something, we all gather and start calling it outdated techniques. Come and see us at work. In reality, most of us are still using those same techniques to produce real work and products. Real work is challenging. It's like being on the moon, zero gravity. Everything flies and can quickly go out of control.

I want to do something about it. I am trying to write a last memorable document that every newcomer could use, at any time or moment, to pave their way and join the elite groups. After reading it, you will not ask any stupid questions again. I Promise You.
